Location of Scotland

Scotland forms the northern part of the United Kingdom, which also comprises England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It is surrounded by sea on three sides: to the west and north by the Atlantic Ocean and on the east by the North Sea. Its only land border is with England, whose capital city, London is a one-hour flight from Glasgow.
